fishes!

As of yesterday, Hans and I are the proud owners of two guppies and a fantail goldfish. There's also two little algae eaters in there too, but they're a little boring. Hans named the algae fishies Pilt and Pompel. The dark blue guppy is named Hecate, courtesy of Hans, since it's kind of a jerk. It was bullying my white and shiny goldfish, who is yet to be named. My guppy is the cutest though. It has a silver body and it's fins are a shimmery combination of gold and bright green, trimmed with black. I haven't named her yet, either. (They're all female.)

Hans took a few pictures, but as they're still on his camera, I can't post them yet. We're gonna get one more fish that's about the same size as my goldfish, because the guppies and algae eaters are little.

And some time in the future, maybe early next year, Hans wants to get a bigger tank. (The one we have is pretty small, only about 18 liters or something.) So, if we really do that, I'll get the little tank to have another betta fish.

I've spent long periods of time staring at the little fishies already. It's so mesmerizing!
